How do I claim my upgrade to the latest version? How do I use product features and can I access online content? Why does that subscription now show as not renewable in my Corel.
What is the Upgrade Protection Program? The Upgrade Protection Program interchangeably "UPP" is an option for users who are on perpetual licenses that allows the use of the most up-to-date version of the CorelDRAW Graphics or Technical Suite at a fraction of the cost of subscribing to the software. Unlike subscription, if you choose not to continue the Upgrade Protection Program and have a perpetual license to CorelDRAW Graphics or Technical Suite, you get to keep the last version of the software that you installed, forever.
Is the Upgrade Protection Program available for all users? Existing users who are already enrolled in the Upgrade Protection Program before September 28, , will be entitled to an upgrade to the latest version of the CorelDRAW product when this becomes available during the term of their UPP and in accordance with the UPP terms available here. The email provides a download link, serial number, and installation instructions.
If you have not received an email, please contact us at coreldraw. How can I confirm my Upgrade Protection Program is still active? You can confirm your Upgrade Protection Program is still active by signing into Your Account , navigating to Order History and viewing the purchase date and active term of your Store purchase.
If you purchased your Upgrade Protection from an authorized Corel reseller, the purchase confirmation email contains the start and end date of the Upgrade Protection Program. The term of your Upgrade Protection Program is 12 months from the date of your purchase and may be renewable depending on when you bought your UPP as further detailed below.
The order receipt that we would have emailed you provides the end date of your Upgrade Protection Program. If you bought your UPP on or at anytime before March 8, you can renew the UPP for 12 months one last time following which no further renewals will be possible.
If you are entitled to such a renewal, you must renew your UPP on the end date in order to continue receiving upgrades, otherwise your UPP will automatically expire on that end date.
If you enrolled in the Upgrade Protection Program at any time between March 9, and September 27, inclusive then you will not be entitled to any renewals of the UPP term.
What will happen when my UPP term expires? You may cancel this auto-renewal by opting out of it through Your Corel Account. Click here to login to your Corel account and change renewal type from Automatic to On-Demand. During the extended period of the free subscription until March 7, , you will also receive the benefits of that subscription at no charge. If you cancel auto-renewal, any upgrades and new versions of CorelDRAW which we release after March 8, , would only be available to you during that extended period.
Canceling auto-renewal can happen any time before March 7, , to avoid the next billing period. You may also choose to buy a CorelDRAW Day Subscription at an introductory price that we will have communicated to you separately in an email.
Why not just retire the UPP program without transitioning users? For those who don't want to migrate, cancelation is quick and can be done anytime in the next 12 months to avoid a future renewal charge.
When and where is the Upgrade Protection Program available? If you do not purchase the UPP within the 30 days period, you will no longer be able to purchase UPP after that period. If you have yet to purchase the UPP by September 27, , you will no longer be able to do so as of September 28, Why do I need to authenticate the product? Authenticating the product will provide significant benefits.
By doing so, you will always be up-to-date with new product updates from Corel, and you will have access to online content, features, and services from Corel during the term of your UPP. Who needs to authenticate their product? Authentication requires you to sign in with your Corel Account credentials to validate your license. As a subscriber, authentication is required to use your product and entitles you to benefits such as online content.
Once your subscription expires, you will no longer be able to use the software. Upgrades are included with a subscription and ensure that you can always use the most up-to-date version of your CorelDRAW product as long as your subscription is active. How can I confirm my subscription is still active or up for renewal? You can confirm your subscription is still active by visiting the Product Status and Subscriptions section of Your Account.
Your subscription status including remaining days will be listed, if applicable. How do I manage my subscriptions? You will need to create and validate a Corel.
Once you have created and validated your account, you will be able to log in at any time on Corel. Can I upgrade from a trial or day subscription to a day subscription?
You can upgrade your subscription only from within your Corel. What happens if my credit card expires? If your subscription or UPP is up for renewal or extension, and your credit card has expired, an email will be sent to the email address associated with your purchase to notify you to update your payment information.
Your UPP will automatically expire if you fail to update your payment information for its renewal or extension by the end date of its term. You will not be entitled to re-activate your UPP after its expiry. Keeping a subscription active will ensure you always have access to the most current version of your CorelDRAW product.
If you purchase a Full version of the suite, you own that specific software version forever, but you are not entitled to any updates, new features or subscriber-exclusive features and content. As long as you have activated your product by signing in with your Corel. In order to access some of the included software components, online features and content, you must be online and authenticated.
Can I cancel my Upgrade Protection or Subscription? If you have auto-renewal set up for your Subscription, you can cancel it at any time. You can cancel the current term of your UPP but cannot cancel the current term of your Subscription. Please note, if you cancel your Upgrade Protection, you will not be able to re-activate it. It is only available for purchase at the time of your software purchase or within 30 days of your software purchase when you buy an ESD version or Box product direct from Corel or from an authorized Corel reseller.
If I have cancelled my Upgrade Protection or auto-renewal for my Subscription, how can I reactivate it? If you cancel your Upgrade Protection, you can no longer reactivate it. If you cancel a subscription you can reactivate it in the Product Status and Subscriptions section of Your Account. Select this platform-agnostic CorelDRAW Graphics Suite subscription to renew your subscription for continued use of the software with all subscription benefits. I am a Corporate user.
Can I use online content and features? Please reach out to your IT administrator or team for authentication and access to the online content. Note: Your administrator may prevent access to online content during network deployment of the software. Software deployment is supported only with CorelSure Maintenance.
